How to Find Where a Person Lives for Free

by Rebecca Scarlett

There are several reasons why you might need to find the address of a particular person. You may need to send him an invitation or a surprise birthday present, or you may need to independently verify an address given to you for business purposes. Luckily, it is simple to discover the addresses of most individuals without having to spend any money.

Finding the Address of a Person Without Using the Internet

Obtain a copy of the White Pages for your city or area. Many community centers or groups distribute phone books and White Pages.

Identify the first letter of the last name of the person whose address you want to find.

Turn to the section containing names that start with the first letter of the person's last name.

Scan through the names until you find the person you are looking for. In most cases, the phone number and address will be listed beside the person's name.
