Therefore, there are a wealth of different grants and resources available to individuals and businesses that have experienced some degree of a crisis. These tips will help you find the various crisis grants you qualify for as well as apply for the money.

Go to the Grants.gov (see Resources) website to find a plethora of crisis grants which you may be qualified to receive.

Ensure you have the latest versions of Adobe Reader and PureEdge installed on your computer. The site offers free downloads of each of these programs if you do not already have them.

Click the "Find Grant Opportunities" link on the left-hand side of the page to search for available grants and funding.

Register with the grant giver, and then register with Grants.gov in order to complete the application process.

Download the appropriate application(s), and fill out all the mandatory fields on the grant application(s) accurately and honestly.

Submit the crisis grant application(s) per the instructions. Some may allow you to submit the application online while others may require you to print and mail it using snail mail.
